Ned Smith Wildlife print “Sunset Woodcock”

Winning Bid: $100.00

Donated by long-time Miramichi fisherman Carl Graybill.

Item condition: New

Rising against the last warm light of an early spring evening, a male American woodcock performs his courtship flight, the famous “skydance” that transforms this pudgy, bug-eyed shorebird into a graceful aerialist. Now, this Ned Smith watercolor, originally commissioned for the April 1974 cover of Pennsylvania Game News magazine, is available as a fine-art print from the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art.

The retail price of this print on the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art website is $215 plus shipping.  It is a fantastic piece of work measuring 12.75 x 19 image area on 17 x 23 paper to provide a large margin for framing.

Note the buy it now price – same as the normal retail value, but it all goes to the MSA – for this item.
