During the second half of the 20th Century Miramichi outfitters and fishing clubs regularly outfitted their guests to “sail the Cains” during the fall season. There were specific put in and take out locations designed to intercept the run at certain stages of the season and to accommodate the time available for the trip. This illustration created by John Rice for “On the Cains” portrays the best known of these trips. The print is a high quality giclée process made from a 70 mb file of the original artwork. It measures 11×14″ approximating the original size with extra margin for framing. The print will arrive securely rolled up in a proper shipping tube.
