Description
Enjoy a June day – there is flexibility in the dates – running the Cains from Shinnickburn all the way to where it runs in to the SW Miramichi at Black Brook. You will fish for early salmon or sea run brook trout. Your hosts will be a pair of the senior members of clan Vickers, Dr. Martyn Vickers – also a long time MSA US board member – and his cousin Kevin Vickers who was at one time the Canadian Ambassador to Ireland. This is an extraordinary opportunity to see the little traveled and historic Cains River in the company of a pair of gentlemen whose family has a long history on the Miramichi River system.
Lunch and beverages are provided as well as transportation from Blackville.
