Gary Tanner has been especially prolific for this auction, and in spite of me telling him that he has done far more than enough he has produced yet another special framed map and fly piece. This one is four Cains River streamers – flies made famous back in the days when Harry Allen and his Cains River canoe runs hosted some top fly tyers and casting champions from the Chicago area – along with a nice map of the Cains River. The flies, going clockwise starting with the yellow streamer on the top are: The Roaring Rapids, Silver Demon, Dunk’s Special, and Black Demon.
