Description

Unusual, “Two Rods In One” Leonard Bamboo Travel Fly Rod

Model: Unknown, made for WM Mills and Son of Nyack , NY< circa 1940.

8’O”, 8 piece* 3 tips. 3 or 4 weight.

*The package includes a single handle, 2 interchangeable butt sections, 2 interchangeable middle sections, and 3 interchangeable tips.

The sections can be mixed and matched to form two identical rods sharing a single common handle and reel seat.

The case is only 32” long, which combined with the duplicate rod sections, makes this an unusually functional travel rod.

Sock is not original. The tube may be (based on its size).

In Fair to Good condition.

The metal parts and guides need cleaning and polishing, and one tip is missing its tiptop guide. The cork seems also to be in good condition, but dirty.

Not Usable “As Is”.
